Qualification Options for Tuition/Residency

Undocumented Students: The   Tuition Equity Provision   established in July 2020 allows for any student who calls Virginia their home but is unable to demonstrate legal domicile to be able to apply under this exception. This is not the same as qualifying as "domiciled in Virginia".


Steps to qualify for in-state tuition exception as   Dependent:

  1. Apply to 皇冠博彩.
  2. Bring the following documents to a campus Student Services Center:
    1. Tuition Equity Provision.
    2. Photo Identification for students.
    3. Final High School Transcript (must show at least 2 years of attendance) or GED.
    4. Federal Income Taxes of person who student depends on.
    5. Virginia income tax returns (VA 760) for 2 previous years.
  3. Students who are   Independent need to provide their own Virginia income tax returns.
  4. Students who are homeschooled should provide home school certification and a copy of the filed letter of intent.
  5. Indicate   Residency   as the document type when uploading documents.
